Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By using Synth, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

2. The service

Synth lets you upload a CSV file, query it with SQL or an AI assistant, and optionally save your work to the cloud. Lite Mode requires no account and stores nothing outside your browser. Normal Mode requires a magic-link sign-in and can save workspaces and chat sessions to your account.

3. Premium purchases

Premium is a one-time, non-recurring purchase that unlocks additional features (multi-table workspaces, table renaming, cross-table AI queries, relationship detection, and CSVs up to 500,000 rows). Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. Not what you expected? Email us within 7 days of purchase and we'll refund you, no questions asked.

4. The AI assistant

SQL and answers generated by the AI assistant may be incorrect or incomplete. You're responsible for reviewing any query before running it and for verifying any answer before relying on it. The assistant is not professional, financial, or legal advice.

5. Acceptable use

Don't upload data you don't have the right to use, don't use Synth to violate any law, and don't attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or abuse the service or its infrastructure.

6. Your data

You retain ownership of any data you upload. If you save data to the cloud, you grant us a limited license to store and process it solely to provide the service back to you. You can delete saved workspaces and sessions at any time from the Dashboard or Load Sessions panel.

7. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

Synth is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including decisions made from AI-generated queries or answers.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continuing to use Synth after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
