Privacy Policy

What we collect

In Lite Mode: nothing. In Normal Mode: the email address you sign in with, plus any workspace (CSV data and table structure) or chat session you explicitly choose to save to the cloud.

How your data is processed

Your CSV is parsed into a real SQLite database running entirely inside your browser tab, using WebAssembly. It never leaves your device unless you sign in and click Save — Lite Mode never contacts our servers at all.

The AI assistant & third-party processing

When you ask the AI assistant a question, that question plus your table's schema (column names and types only — never your actual row data) is sent to our AI provider to generate a response. If you paste real data into your own message, that text is sent as part of the request.

Payments

Premium purchases are handled directly by Stripe. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded, but never see or store your card number.

Cookies & local storage

Saved queries, your SQL/General mode preference, and your Lite/Normal mode choice are stored in your browser's local storage, on your device only. Signed-in sessions use a standard authentication cookie/token. We don't use third-party ad-tracking cookies.

Your choices & data deletion

You can delete any saved workspace or chat session yourself from the Dashboard or Load Sessions panel. To delete your account entirely, contact us and we'll remove your data.

Children's privacy

Synth isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
